SAT Scores are optional
This university has a test-optional policy.
University of Missouri offers a test‑optional admission policy: first‑year applicants may choose whether to submit SAT or ACT scores; those applying test‑optional are evaluated holistically based on their high school transcript and a required short essay question on the application . Submitted test scores can enhance consideration for scholarships, the Honors College, and course placement, and MU accepts new scores through July of senior year . Homeschooled students and those from non‑accredited schools must submit a standardized test score (ACT or SAT) to be eligible for admission, and international applicants must meet separate English proficiency requirements .
Note: Some programs or scholarships may still recommend or require SAT scores. Always verify the latest admission criteria on the official university website.
