01 /The Digital SAT, decoded

Everything on the Digital SAT, at a glance

The Digital SAT is a 2-hour-14-minute adaptive exam taken in College Board's Bluebook app. It has two sections, Reading and Writing followed by Math, and each section is split into two modules. Your performance on the first module decides how difficult the second one is, and your total score lands between 400 and 1600.

02 /One platform, every tool

Everything you need to raise your SAT score, in one place

Most students juggle a prep book, a question bank, a vocabulary app and a calendar. SAT Sphere connects all of them, so every lesson, practice question and review session feeds the same plan, and your progress is tracked in one dashboard.

03 /How it works

A clear path from your first lesson to your target score

Whether your test is in three weeks or six months, SAT Sphere breaks preparation into small daily steps so you build skills steadily instead of cramming the night before.

  4. 04

Test yourself like it is real

Timed practice tests give you an estimated score and pinpoint the skills that deserve one more review before test day.

07 /Why the SAT matters

One test score that can open doors worldwide

Even in a test-optional world, a strong SAT score remains one of the clearest ways to show academic readiness. That matters most for international students, whose school grades can be hard for admissions offices to compare.

Stronger college applications

Many selective universities require or recommend SAT scores again, and a high score can lift an application that sits on the borderline.

Merit scholarships and aid

Universities and private foundations use SAT scores to award merit-based scholarships that can cut the cost of a degree significantly.

Recognized around the world

The SAT is accepted by thousands of universities in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and beyond, so one exam can support applications to many destinations.

Placement and program entry

Some universities use SAT results to place students into courses or as an entry requirement for competitive programs such as engineering.

08 /FAQ

Digital SAT prep questions, answered

Short answers to what students ask us most. Can't find yours? Visit the full FAQ or send us a message.

Can I prepare for the Digital SAT with SAT Sphere for free?

Yes. The free plan gives you introductory SAT materials and full access to one course module, so you can try the lessons and practice questions before deciding whether to upgrade. You do not need a payment card to sign up.

How long should I study for the Digital SAT?

Most students study for two to three months, with 30 to 60 minutes of focused practice a few times per week. If your test is sooner, the SAT Sphere planner compresses your schedule and prioritizes the skills with the biggest score impact.

Does SAT Sphere follow the new Digital SAT format?

Yes. Lessons, practice questions and practice tests are built around the current Digital SAT: two sections with two modules each, short reading passages and Desmos-friendly math questions, just like in the Bluebook app.

What is a good SAT score?

The average SAT score is a little above 1000, so anything above 1200 places you comfortably above average, and 1400+ is competitive for highly selective universities. The right target depends on the schools you apply to, and our University Hub shows each school's SAT policy.

Can SAT Sphere help if English is not my first language?

Yes. The lessons and practice questions are in English, the language of the test, so you build exactly the reading skills the exam rewards. The SAT word dictionary, flashcards and step-by-step explanations help you grow the academic vocabulary the Reading and Writing section expects, and the website, guides and resources are also available in other languages.

How are SAT Sphere practice tests scored?

Each module has its own time limit, and your estimated score combines your accuracy in every module, weighted by how much time each question allows. You get a breakdown by section so you know what to review next. Module difficulty does not change based on your answers, so also take College Board's official Bluebook practice tests to rehearse the adaptive experience before test day.
