SAT Scores are optional
This university has a test-optional policy.
Transylvania University adopted a test-optional policy in 2016, allowing applicants to decide whether to submit ACT or SAT scores for admission and scholarship consideration. Applicants who opt out of submitting scores must provide a supplemental essay in lieu of test results. Submitted scores are considered alongside GPA, coursework rigor, extracurriculars, and recommendations in a holistic review. International students may also use SAT Evidence‑Based Reading scores or ACT for English proficiency, or provide TOEFL/IELTS/other language exams.
Note: Some programs or scholarships may still recommend or require SAT scores. Always verify the latest admission criteria on the official university website.
