Founded in 1967, STCC is Massachusetts’ only technical community college, serving 3,945 students in over 90 associate degree and certificate programs across liberal arts, STEM, health sciences, and technical fields. The college occupies 35 acres of the historic Springfield Armory National Historic Site, combining repurposed Armory buildings with modern labs, studios, and classrooms. Accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education, STCC offers day, evening, weekend, and online courses, as well as guaranteed transfer pathways to more than 400 four‑year institutions. The Rams athletic teams compete at the NJCAA level, reflecting the college’s commitment to student engagement and community development.
