SAT Scores are optional
This university has a test-optional policy.
Missouri State University guarantees automatic admission for applicants with a cumulative high school GPA of 3.00 or higher and completion of the required college‑prep curriculum, without needing SAT or ACT scores . Applicants with a GPA below 3.00 must submit an ACT composite or superscore or an SAT total or superscore meeting the thresholds outlined in the selection index (e.g., 1060 SAT or 21 ACT for a 2.85–2.99 GPA) . Test scores, while optional for admission, can enhance scholarship qualification and course placement, and Missouri State considers superscores for both the ACT and SAT . Home‑schooled applicants are evaluated using the same GPA and test‑score criteria in the selection index to qualify for admission consideration .
Note: Some programs or scholarships may still recommend or require SAT scores. Always verify the latest admission criteria on the official university website.
