HCU practices a test‑optional admissions policy: first‑time freshmen and transfers may apply without SAT or ACT scores; applications are reviewed holistically on transcripts, essays, and recommendations. Submission of official scores (SAT code 6282, ACT code 4101) can enhance scholarship eligibility and support course placement or credit by examination but are never required for admission. International applicants follow the same framework with separate English proficiency requirements.
Note: Some programs or scholarships may still recommend or require SAT scores. Always verify the latest admission criteria on the official university website.
