SAT Scores are optional
This university has a test-optional policy.
Since Fall 2021, Mines has operated under a test‑optional admissions policy: applicants may choose whether to submit SAT or ACT scores, with applications receiving equal consideration. There is no minimum score requirement; however, the middle 50% of enrolled freshmen typically scored between 1205 and 1465 on the SAT. Test scores, if submitted, may be used for merit scholarship evaluation but are not mandatory. The SAT writing component is not considered in the admissions process.
Note: Some programs or scholarships may still recommend or require SAT scores. Always verify the latest admission criteria on the official university website.
