Device Lending
This guide explains the eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, and evaluation process for borrowing a device for the Digital SAT. It is designed to help students and parents determine if they qualify for SAT device lending and understand the necessary steps to apply.

The process for requesting a loaned device is straightforward and consists of several key steps:
Register for the SAT:

Complete the Device Request:
After registration, the “Request a device” option will appear within your My SAT account. Follow the link provided to fill out a brief questionnaire. This questionnaire requires you to provide an adult reference, such as a counselor, teacher, or school administrator.
Submit Your Request:
Ensure that you complete and submit your device request at least 30 days before your scheduled test date. This timeframe allows for adequate processing and shipping of the device.
As part of your application for a loaner device, you will need to provide the following:
For international students who are already participating in College Board programs or those with fee waivers, the process may be expedited based on existing arrangements.
It is important to note that submitting a device lending request does not guarantee approval. The evaluation process takes into account:
Eligibility:
Your response regarding device access and need.
Availability:
The current supply of devices available for lending.
Only after these factors are considered will the College Board determine whether to provide you with a loaned device.
