Located in Education City, Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar was established in 2001 as a partnership between Cornell University and the Qatar Foundation. It offers a unique six-year integrated program of pre-medical and medical studies leading to a Cornell University M.D. degree. WCM-Q is highly selective and renowned for its cutting-edge biomedical research and training of future physicians.

Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar has a test-optional policy for its Six-Year Medical Program. Applicants are not required to submit SAT or ACT scores as part of their application. Students may still choose to submit their scores if they believe the results will strengthen their application, but there is no penalty for not doing so. All applicants must meet separate English language proficiency requirements.
