The University of Puerto Rico requires applicants to submit standardized test scores. The primary test used is the College Board's Prueba de Aptitud Académica (PAA). However, for applicants from high schools outside of Puerto Rico, the SAT is accepted as a direct equivalent to the PAA. Therefore, submission of scores from either the PAA or the SAT is a mandatory component of the application.
