SAT University Admissions Guide
Also known as: UoN, Nairobi University
Public school in Nairobi, Nairobi County, Kenya
Established in 1970, the University of Nairobi (UoN) is the oldest and largest university in Kenya. It has a strong reputation for research and offers diverse undergraduate and postgraduate programs across fields like medicine, engineering, law, and arts. UoN consistently ranks among the top universities in Africa and is an alma mater to many of the region's leaders.
SAT Scores are optional
This university has a test-optional policy.
The University of Nairobi primarily uses the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) for domestic admissions. However, for international applicants or those from non-Kenyan educational systems, the SAT is recognized as a standardized test for undergraduate entry. Submission of SAT scores is therefore optional and serves as one of several ways to meet the university's admission criteria.
Note: Some programs or scholarships may still recommend or require SAT scores. Always verify the latest admission criteria on the official university website.
