Tokyo University of the Arts, commonly known as Geidai, is the premier arts institution in Japan, with a history dating back to 1887. It has produced a great number of celebrated artists, musicians, designers, and architects. The university is composed of the Faculty of Fine Arts and the Faculty of Music, both of which are renowned for their rigorous, specialized training.

This university does not accept SAT Scores.
Admission to Geidai is exceptionally competitive and is not based on standardized academic tests like the SAT or EJU. Instead, applicants must undergo a series of highly specialized practical examinations and portfolio reviews that are unique to each department. These exams are designed to assess artistic talent, technical skill, and creative potential at the highest level.
