UT Arlington employs a test–optional policy for first‑time freshman applicants: SAT or ACT scores are not required for domestic students but can be submitted for scholarship, course placement, and testing exemption considerations. International applicants educated outside the U.S. must submit SAT (minimum 980 redesigned) or ACT (minimum 19) scores to meet admission requirements.
