Founded in 1899, PCOM is one of the nation’s leading free‑standing medical schools, offering doctoral degrees in Osteopathic Medicine (DO), Pharmacy (PharmD), Physical Therapy (DPT), and Psychology (PsyD), as well as master’s degrees in Biomedical Sciences and other health fields. The Philadelphia campus enrolls approximately 1,675 students across its graduate programs and maintains campuses in Georgia and South Georgia for expanded reach. Accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and respective professional bodies, PCOM emphasizes interprofessional education, clinical training at affiliated hospitals, and research in medical and health sciences. While PCOM’s DO, PharmD, DPT, and other graduate programs do not require SAT or ACT scores, PCOM’s Early Assurance Program for Pharmacy applicants requires SAT or ACT scores (minimum SAT 1100 or ACT 23). Graduate admissions are based on professional prerequisites, GPA, MCAT for DO, CASPA for PA, and program‑specific requirements.
