It enrolls 3,255 students (2,519 undergraduates and 736 postgraduates as of fall 2022) and offers bachelor's degrees in 67 majors along with graduate and adult degree‑completion programs. ONU’s 250‑acre suburban campus includes the annual Regional Celebrate Life gathering, and its 21 varsity teams, the Tigers, compete in NAIA conferences. The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and maintains an endowment of $45.1 million.
