SAT Scores are optional
This university has a test-optional policy.
Ohio University offers a permanent test‑optional admissions pathway for freshman applicants to its Athens campus: applicants may elect to submit SAT or ACT scores, which are superscored and considered holistically, but non‑submission will not disadvantage admission or merit-based scholarships. Transfer, international, regional campus, and online applicants are exempt from test requirements. Placement testing via Accuplacer, ACT, or SAT may still be used for course placement when scores are submitted.
Note: Some programs or scholarships may still recommend or require SAT scores. Always verify the latest admission criteria on the official university website.
