Incorporated in November 2008 and welcoming its inaugural class in August 2009, New College Franklin offers a single Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts grounded in a classical, discussion‑based curriculum. Accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) and authorized by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission, NCF enrolls fewer than 30 first‑year students per class to maintain a 5:1 student‑faculty ratio. This university does not accept SAT Scores.
All applicants under age 25 must submit Classic Learning Test (CLT) scores; SAT and ACT scores are not accepted. Applicants 25 or older may substitute a writing sample and references in lieu of standardized tests.
