Established in 1997, the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) is a research-intensive graduate university located in Roppongi, Tokyo. It offers master's and doctoral programs in public policy, economics, and international development, taught almost exclusively in English. Its student body is highly international, consisting primarily of mid-career public officials from around the world.

This university does not accept SAT Scores.
GRIPS is an exclusively graduate-level institution and does not offer undergraduate programs. The SAT is an undergraduate admissions test and is therefore not relevant to the admissions process at GRIPS. Applicants are required to hold a bachelor's degree and are evaluated based on their academic record, professional experience, and research potential.
