Affiliated with the University of Chicago since 2013, the laboratory has been associated with 63 Nobel Prize winners and numerous members of national academies. Its facilities include specialized research centers such as the Josephine Bay Paul Center for comparative molecular biology and the National Xenopus Resource, as well as shared resources with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.
