The French University in Armenia (UFAR) was established in 2000 through an intergovernmental agreement. It offers programs in law, business, and information technology, with instruction primarily in French. Students receive diplomas from both UFAR and its academic partner, Jean Moulin University Lyon 3, providing them with a European-standard education.

This university does not accept SAT Scores.

The French University in Armenia does not use the SAT for admission. All applicants must pass a competitive entrance exam which includes tests of general knowledge and French language proficiency. This internal exam is the only basis for admission.
