Established in 1962 as Edison Junior College, FSW has expanded to offer associate and bachelor’s degrees in healthcare, business, technology, and education to over 14,300 students (fall 2022) across multiple campuses. The Lee Campus in Fort Myers at 8099 College Parkway serves as the main campus, with additional sites in Punta Gorda, Naples, and LaBelle providing workforce certification and adult education programs. Accredited by SACS, FSW’s growth includes a rebranding in 2014 from Edison State College to its current name, reflecting its regional impact and academic breadth. The Buccaneers compete in NJCAA Region 8’s Suncoast Conference, showcasing strong athletics alongside academic offerings.
