Founded in 1939 as Endicott Junior College for women by Eleanor Tupper and George Bierkoe, Endicott College transitioned to a four-year institution in 1988 and became coeducational in 1994. The college enrolls over 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students and hosts a 12:1 student-to-faculty ratio, emphasizing personalized education. Undergraduates are required to complete three internships, including semester-long professional experiences, before graduation. The suburban campus spans 235 acres on Massachusetts Bay’s Gold Coast and features facilities like the Manninen Center for the Arts and Hempstead Stadium. Endicott’s NCAA Division III athletic teams, known as the Gulls, compete in the Commonwealth Coast Conference.
