Set on over 1,200 acres of rural campus, students benefit from a 9:1 student–faculty ratio, robust undergraduate research, service‑learning initiatives, and NCAA Division III athletics as the Bennies and Johnnies in the MIAC. The institutions emphasize holistic education rooted in Benedictine values and community engagement.
SAT Scores are optional
This university has a test-optional policy.
CSB+SJU adopts a test‑optional policy: applicants may choose not to submit ACT or SAT scores, and scores are considered only if beneficial for admission or merit scholarship awards. Home‑schooled, ungraded‑school, and international applicants needing English proficiency must submit standardized test scores or equivalent exams. There is no disadvantage for applicants who opt out of testing.
Note: Some programs or scholarships may still recommend or require SAT scores. Always verify the latest admission criteria on the official university website.
