Registration Information
Knowing the details of SAT fees and payment methods is an important part of your registration process. Being well-informed helps you plan your budget, avoid unexpected costs, and ensure that your registration goes smoothly. This guide provides a comprehensive overview of the various fees associated with the SAT and outlines the payment options available.
In addition to the base fee, several other charges may apply depending on your situation:
International Fee:
Students testing outside the United States will incur an additional fee of $43.
Late Registration Fee:
If you register after the regular deadline but before the late registration deadline, an extra fee of $34 is charged.
Test Center Change Fee:
Changing your selected test center after registration will require a fee of $29.
Cancellation Fees:
In addition to the registration fees, there are charges related to score reporting services:
Additional Score Reports:
Your first four score reports are free if ordered by nine days after the test date. Any additional reports, or those ordered later, cost $14 per report.
Rush Reporting:
If you need your scores delivered more quickly, a rush reporting fee of $31 applies.
Scores by Phone:
Retrieving scores via phone is available for $15 per call.
Archived Scores:
Requests for older or archived scores are subject to a fee of $35.
You have a variety of payment options available when paying for SAT registration and related services:
Credit Cards:
Major credit cards such as American Express, Discover, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, and JCB are accepted.
PayPal:
You can also use PayPal for online payments. Note that PayPal is not available as a payment method in Ghana, so verify its availability in your region before registering.

Test Center Fees:
Some test centers may impose additional charges. It is advisable to contact your chosen test center directly to confirm if any extra fees apply.
