Test Day Checklist
Preparing for the Digital SAT involves more than just studying; it requires strategic planning and awareness of test-day protocols. The following guide outlines key do’s and don’ts to help you navigate the day confidently and avoid common pitfalls.
Ensure you have the following:
Category | Do’s | Don’ts |
---|---|---|
Arrival | Arrive by 7:30 a.m. to complete check-in procedures. | Do not arrive late; test center doors close at 8:00 a.m. |
Required Items | Bring your admission ticket, valid photo ID, fully charged device (with Bluebook™ app), power cord/charger, pencil, and (optional) calculator. | Do not bring prohibited items like mobile phones, smartwatches, and unauthorized calculators. |
During the Test | Follow all proctor instructions; use breaks to relax and hydrate while keeping the app open; stay calm and focused. | Do not close the Bluebook™ app during breaks, or attempt to access other applications during the test. |
Test Center Updates | Monitor your email and the College Board’s test center updates for any changes. | Do not ignore updates that might affect test center location or operations. |
By following these guidelines, you can minimize stress and maximize your performance on the Digital SAT. Smart habits and careful preparation on test day are key to success.
